Competition Recap

Flagler Beach showed out on June 6th and the Atlantic Crucible delivered everything a competition should be — raw talent, crowd energy, and moments that are going to live in the heads of everyone who was there for a long time. Fueled by Zero FG Energy, the vibe from the jump was different. This wasn't just a skimboarding comp — it was an event. Eighteen competitors hit the water across a grueling 20-heat format and by the time the final horn sounded, the beach was absolutely electric. The day's defining moment came courtesy of Isaiah Farrar, who locked into a liner backside, threaded a rail grab mid-barrel, and threw a peace sign to the crowd right before getting swallowed by the wave. The place lost it. That wave didn't just win the steeze category — it stopped time. Meanwhile Aiden Goldfein became the only rider on the day to land a superman, a trick that had jaws dropping up and down the shoreline. And through all of it, 8-year-old Starlit — the only female competitor in the field — rode with more confidence than riders twice her age, proving that in this sport, heart hits different than experience.

When the scores dropped, Aiden Gorman stood alone at the top with 161.442 points, edging out Isaiah Farrar by a razor-thin margin of 0.114 in one of the closest finals this circuit has ever seen. Aiden Goldfein locked in third with 123.799, rounding out a podium that represents the absolute ceiling of what this sport looks like right now. Kreuz kept the energy at a ten the entire day — never not smiling, never not hyping the crowd — and White Chocolate Andon Goodwin earned the unofficial title of Sand-Munching King after collecting more wipeouts than anyone dared count, all while wearing the biggest grin on the beach. The Atlantic Crucible just raised the bar. See you at the next one.
